A green space that celebrates the maritime history of Northshore

Located within Northshore’s performance and entertainment hub which also houses Flipside’s new Circus Centre, and is adjacent to Eat Street, the boss of street eats in Brisbane. The park and wharf spaces are ideal for destination and outdoor experiences.

The shipping containers used throughout Maritime Green display unique murals painted by Australian and international artists during the last Brisbane Street Art Festival. The inspired murals celebrate life, cultural relationships, architecture, the river, and indigenous stories, injecting a unique vibrance and artistic energy in the space.

About the Space

The collection of spaces are a blank canvas, ideally suited to host a mix of programmed activation and performances – a destination for every day relaxation or energised events. Activities and events permitted include outdoor cinema, performances, fetes, fairs and markets, live artists, entertainment and music concerts, festivals, traveling performances, theatre and theatre restaurants, outdoor sport and recreation uses.

    The Hangar provides 146m2 of undercover activation space, with adjoining shipping container serveries.
